The mighty soybean is a great source of many nutrients including protein, antioxidants, vitamins and compounds called ephytoestrogens. In soy, isoflavones that include genistein and diadzein are considered phytoestrogens. These complexes help to balance the hormones in menopausal and postmenopausal females. If the body also gets the required amount of calcium and other bone nutrients, then these phytoestrogens can also help to slow mineral loss from the bone - a concern of many women after 40. Menopause symptoms can range from night sweats to hot flashes during the day, irritability, lethargy, lack of concentration and the list goes on. These symptoms happen as the endocrine (hormone) system changes the amount of reproductive hormones in the body as a woman ages and the menstrual cycle ceases. Sometimes these changes can happen with strong, and not so comfortable, symptoms.
Grandhealth® Soy Isoflavone is derived from a non-GMO soybean which offers a minimum of 40% soy isoflavone per capsule. When used in conjunction with adequate amounts of calcium and vitamin D, it helps to reduce bone mineral density (BMD) loss.
